VERY HEAVY RAINS IN VALSAD REGION

AFFECTS RAILWAY TRAFFIC

SOME TRAINS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED/ SHORT - TERMINATED/

RE – SCHEDULED

 

            Due to very heavy rains and water logging o­n tracks at Valsad station during midnight of 17th & 18thJuly, 2017, the movement of Mail/Express trains o­n both UP & Down direction affected. The following trains have been cancelled, partially cancelled and short terminated o­n 18/07/2017 as under:-

Trains Cancelled o­n 18/7/17:

1)Train No. 12922/ 12921 Surat-Mumbai Central-Surat Flying Ranee Express

2)Train No. 59024/59023 Valsad – Mumbai Central – Valsad Passenger

3)Train No. 12935/12936 Bandra (T) – Surat- Bandra (T) Intercity Express

4)Train No. 59038 Surat - Virar Passenger

5)Train No. 59039 Virar – Valsad MEMU            

Trains Partially Cancelled:

1)Train No. 59049 Valsad – Viramgam Passenger of 18/7/17 was cancelled between Valsad- Bilimora and started from Bilimora for Viramgam.

2)Train No. 59009 Virar – Bharuch Passenger was operated upto Vapi and was remain cancelled between Vapi – Bharuch. It was reversed as Train no. 59038.

3)Train No. 59010 Bharuch – Virar Passenger was remain cancelled between Bharuch – Surat.

4)Train No. 22962 Hapa – Surat Intercity of 18/7/17 was reversed as Train No. 22959 Surat – Jamnagar Intercity.

Train Short Terminated:

1)Train No. 12902 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Gujarat Mail of 17/7/17 was short terminated at Dadar.

Trains Re - Scheduled:

1)Train No. 22953 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Gujarat Express of 18/7/17 scheduled to depart at 5.45 hrs from Mumbai Central was rescheduled at 6.45 hrs.

2)Train No. 12009 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express of 18/7/17 scheduled to depart at 6.25 hrs from Mumbai Central was rescheduled at 7.25 hrs.

3)Train No. 12480 Bandra (T) – Jodhpur Suryanagari Express of 18/7/17 scheduled to depart at 13.30 hrs from Bandra (T) was rescheduled at 14.25 hrs.

4)Train No. 12955 Mumbai Central – Jaipur Superfast Express of 18/7/17 scheduled to depart at 18.50 hrs from Mumbai Central was rescheduled at 19.45 hrs.

As Train No. 59441 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Passenger of 17/7/17 reached Surat late, the slip coach of Train No. 59441 Mumbai Central – Nandurbar Passenger was attached to Train No. 59077 Surat – Bhusaval Passenger o­n 18/7/17 Ex Surat to Nandurbar. In return direction, the slip coach was attached to Train No. 59014 Bhusaval – Surat Passenger Ex Nandurbar o­n 18/7/17 and the same was attached to Train No. 59440 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Passenger o­n 19/7/17.

Train movement started at 4.45hrs o­n UP line and Down line was resumed at 5.00hrs, when water level was reduced o­n tracks at Valsad. Thereafter, all UP & Down trains regulated at various stations due to heavy water logging were cleared.
